The story of the Bhopal gas leak is one of ongoing human tragedy and environmental disaster. Over 20,000 lives have been lost, and the suffering continues today. While Dow Chemical argues its responsibility, the abandoned pesticide plant is allowed to continue to leach toxic chemicals into the water supply and poison new generations.
The Bhopal Medical Appeal is a UK charity that funds a clinic in Bhopal to provide free treatment for suffers of the 1984 gas leak disaster and the present day water poisoning. To find out more go to: Exhibition Previews http://artforbhopal.tumblr.com
