Description
A performance of popular and world choral music. Musical director Gitika Partington leads the Bishopsgate Singers and Highgate Newtown Community Singers in singing a range of popular and world repertoire, from Rolling Stones and the Supremes to traditional African music.
There is also a short performance by a newly formed singing group from South Camden Community School. This is followed by an open workshop led by Gitika for both performers and any audience members who want to join in.
Bishopsgate Singers is part of Bishopsgate Institute's Courses for Adults programme and is open to anyone who loves to sing and develop their vocal and harmony skills in a friendly and sociable space.
