Take part in Oxfam's Artopia project at the LEB Building in Bethnal Green, 2nd - 4th August 2010.

Artopia is designed to encourage people to think about the kind of climate future they hope for in a creative way, and to develop positive and empowering dialogue about climate change.

We are inviting local artists and youth and community groups to take part in hands on workshops, combining artistic techniques with informed discussion on climate change.

Participants are invited to drop in throughout the day, either for a workshop or just to create their contribution to Artopia using the mediums we provide, until at the end of the day we have a finished piece ready for public display.

The piece will then be launched in a public space so people can continue to be inspired by the kind of future the participants have imagined and created!

Workshops will take place from 10am - 5pm from 2nd - 4th August. There will also be an open evening afterwards from 7 - 9pm.
