EVERYBODY LOVES KUNG FU FIGHTING..

Bare Hand Bare foot presents

Kick off your fortnightly Wednesday evenings with the ultimate Kung Fu
film club at The Drunken Monkey dim sum eatery and cocktail bar in Shoreditch.

Providing the perfect backdrop for this film genre, The Drunken Monkey is
decorated with red Chinese lanterns, high ceilings and dark corners, so
movie goers can feel like they are within a real 1970's Kung Fu film set.

Bare Hand Bare Foot Productions host the fortnightly film nights, and
celebrate 1970's 'Golden Harvest' style Kung Fu movies with collections of
Kung Fu and Blaxploitation movies screened on the venue's projector and
bespoke sound system.

Guests can watch their favourite films while eating delicious dim sum and
drinking the signature Drunken Monkey cocktails on offer. So there's
something for everyone, whether you're a martial arts aficionado or a
kung-fu film first timer.

Set up by two Shoreditch locals, Patric James and Looker 'Sifu' Bailey,
Bare Hand Bare Foot Productions was created as a result of their joint love of
everything Kung Fu. Both grew up in London at a time when the Kung Fu
craze really came to town. While David Carradine was wandering around the wild west dressed as a Shaolin Monk in the popular TV series "Kung Fu" every
Saturday afternoon, the real action took place in cinemas all over the
country at the late night bill on Friday nights.

The Kung Fu film club at The Drunken Monkey seeks to recapture the Friday
night hype and entertain their visitors with an action packed film fest of
their favourite movies.

Bare Hand, Bare Foot Movie club is at the Drunken Monkey from 8pm every third Wednesday night.  Free entry.
