Queer DIY Street party and performances opposite Buckingham Palace

Opposite the headquarters of the fake royalties the real Queens and
Kings will demand entry. We resist the remnants of the imperial past,
patriarchy, and all the racist heteronormative ideas attached to them.
This is a DIY event - come and make it happen !

WE ARE LONDON - COME PLAY WITH US!

The Queen is fake. Buckingham Palace is fake. The fantasy family as
represented by the Windsors is fake too.

London is not just monuments to an empire built on the backs of the
oppressed.  London is us!  Queer, beautiful, crazy, with more glamour
in our little toes than Princess Diana ever had.

Who are the royal family?  A bunch of in-bred aristocrats pretending
to be better than the rest of us, a symbol of the ideal nuclear family
we are all supposed to aspire to. Well, we see through the facade.
There are queers amongst them, bursting to get out but held back in
the biggest closet of them all. We reject all idealization of the
nuclear family with its gender roles. We reject the royal family. We
reject the queen who like a dominatrix in a non-consensual power
relationship whips up ugly patriotism and forces normalization upon
us.

We reject the little tea-parties, where the only homosexuals welcome
are those who recreate the heterosexual norms with their consumption,
their mortgages and their right to join the army.

Tourists, do not stick to the already well-trodden paths! Do not
imagine that you will find London in front of a palace, or inside a
museum or shop.  London is in the cracks in between.

We reclaim this space. If you are fed up of the patriarchal
heteronormative traditions represented by this royal façade, we invite
you to join our celebration, here in London.
