Description
Urban Green Fair is back on Sunday 5th September.11am - 7pm. Brockwell Park.

A wide range of speakers, films, talks, poets, BMX races, Brockwell Park Tennis Championship, cafes, stalls, big kids zone with a focus on peak oil and climate change.
It is free although a good donation required. Stalls can be booked via the website.
Speakers include Nafeez Ahmed on “A User's Guide to the Crisis of Civilization: And How to Save it”. Dougald Hine on the Dark Mountain Project, Shane Collins 'Drugs, Crime and Peak oil, Andrew Simms on “Eminent Corporations: The Rise and Fall of the Great British Brands, plus speakers on biofuels and nuclear power, all in all about 40 talks / workshops, see website for full details.
New tent this year - the Spoken Word Tent for Green authors to discuss their book's and stand up poets.
This is a free event run by a community interest company - a bunch of volunteers, so please do help out if possible, at least by telling your mates. . Posters via the website.

One of Lambeth's largest and most scenic parks. Has well stocked kid's playground, cafe, tennis courts and the home of Brixton Lido. Holds occasional free events in the Summer including the popular Lambeth Country Show.
