Many towns and cities across the UK are already joining the attempt and Regent’s Park is having a slice of the action. The world record attempt will take place in the beautiful setting of the Queen Mary’s Gardens, Holme Green and Marylebone Green. Regent’s Park will be spearheading the picnicking action with a fun-filled picnic extravaganza with registration opening at 11am and entertainment from 12pm. Plus, families will be able to enjoy free strawberries and cream courtesy of Sainsbury’s whilst being a part of a world record attempt.
