WHAT: Naked Juice installs London’s first ever surf simulator
WHERE: Broadgate circle near Liverpool Street station
WHEN: 4th – 8thJuly
FOR the first time ever this summer, Londoners can surf in the City as Naked Juice installs London’s first ever giant surf simulator.
The experience is open to all, regardless of skill or standard. Thrill-seekers who want to test their prowess can enter the free online ticket lottery at www.nakedjuice.co.uk for a coveted ticket to surf.
The FlowRider machine and its huge 39,000 litres of water will be at the centre of the newly transformed urban beach arena. The simulator recreates the power, speed and challenge of ocean waves and delivers them to surfers at speeds of 40kph.
Urban boarders will be kitted out in full surf gear and receive top-class tuition, as well as a Naked Juice boost, before hitting the waves. Changing rooms will be provided. Rival teams can also compete, whether it’s company competitors or battle of the sexes, teams can book sessions on the surf machine and battle it out to be crowned Urban Surf Champions 2011.
